City of Waco Cameron Park Zoo

Mission:: Cameron Park Zoo is committed to wildlife conservation and research, educating others about nature and preserving biological diversity.
Volunteer Duties:: Work directly with the animals, plants and zoo visitors in areas such as education and conservation.
Volunteer Requirements:: Volunteers must be age 18 or older, complete an application, attend an orientation and pass a background check. If working with animals, volunteers are required to have a tuberculosis test.
Training:: All training is provided; no prior experience is necessary.
Time Commitment:: Volunteers must commit to 48 hours a year.
Group Volunteering:: Groups are welcome to volunteer with outdoor projects such as landscaping, indoor projects such as sorting items for special events, and helping with special events. Groups must complete a group volunteer application.
